差點 / もうちょっと / Rendezvous at Almost

序

在這一系列小尺度創作中，我想表達的是「維持平衡」，或「差點達到平衡」的狀態。

「…差點…」，某些時候我們這樣在心裡反覆倒帶，掛念定局將襲來的前一刻；又或者總是你我眼前的這一刻。那是一段事物與事物之間所處在的，懸置的時空。裡頭，此與彼、自我與他人、記憶與未來、限制與想像…，正相互拉扯著。我試著回到那相遇與分離的瞬間，去捕捉可能抵達的情感狀態-那也許是自我的拉扯、對世界的疑惑、對事物的執迷、對愛與夢想的追逐。

畫中少有明確的現實形象，然而它們從不脫離於人間。如同人、建築及大自然，它們受重力支配，隨之有著真實的組構關係；必要之時，它們向他處借力，讓自己可以輕盈地站在地面、浮在海面，抑或真實地飛行。

This series of small-scale works is trying to express the states of "keeping balance " or "almost reaching equilibrium".

We are often reacting and rethinking about the moment before a certain event occurs, and it is a space and time where an event and things related to the event exist. In that space and time, here and there, the self and the other, memory and future, limitation and imagination are all tugging at each other. I tries to return to the moment of the encounter and the separation, and attempts to capture the possible emotional states of the self battle, the confusion towards the world, the persistence with certain objects and things, and the pursuits of love and dream.

These paintings seldom have concrete physical images, but they are also not far from mundane life. Like people, architecture and nature, they take on the delegation of weights with realistic organizational relationships. At critical times, they rely on the forces coming from elsewhere, and allow themselves to stand effortlessly on the ground, float on the ocean surface, or fly in reality.
